About Me

My Story

*Please read Nina ma’am story first, only then will my story make sense.*

I was a witness to my mother’s struggle through her painful days when even taking a few steps was a huge task for her.
She believes that God gave her life, it definitely had to have a meaning. Despite the pain, she believed, there must be something hidden inside as a God’s gift.

This, stronger than steel will, drove her to ultimately solve her health problems.

I was an avid fitness lover—crazy passion for working out. From gym workouts to aerobics to kick-boxing, I tried everything. But nothing ever captured my interest forever. That changed when I discovered Iyengar yoga at the age of 16 in 2002.

I started practicing alongside my mother, watching her and learning from her actions. She would often correct my mistakes and help me improve.

Once I tried it, I was hooked—forever!

I practiced Iyengar yoga once, and that was it. I knew immediately what I wanted. I had discovered a whole unexplored space with limitless possibilities in front of me.

It only took that one experience to make up my mind. I was amazed at how brilliant Iyengar Methodology of Yoga truly is. The precision, the depth, and the structure—it was exactly the clarity and discipline I had been searching for all these years.

The true beauty lies in how the asanas are constructed with precise alignment of muscles, bones, mind, and breath. This unlocks the full potential within us. And let me tell you, the asanas can be very intense sometimes.

I practiced daily, and I began to see incredible transformations—physically, mentally, emotionally, and psychologically. My confidence grew. My mind became clearer. Over a few years, I changed completely. I forgot who I used to be—and for the better. The process took time, but every change was exciting; I was always eager to experience the next.

Yoga is like discovering your own inner divinity—recognizing the power within you, with crystal clarity and unshakeable faith.

Flexibility, strength, stamina—they are real. But what yoga gives beyond that is life itself. Your personality, your being, your very presence transforms. There is an asana for everyone, at every stage, and at every level of practice. That is the Iyengar Yoga way—yoga for everyone.

I changed, so can you. Like my mother, I now teach Iyengar Yoga, and I continue to learn and deepen my practice regularly. I encourage all young people to give Iyengar Yoga a chance and discover a brighter, stronger, and more empowered version of themselves.

Nobody needs to endure pain or struggle unnecessarily. Truly, you can overcome and thrive—if you adopt Iyengar Yoga in your life. It has everything you will ever need.
