Physiotherapists often treat acute symptoms. Iyengar Yoga Therapy looks deeper—into posture, breath, and habit patterns. It’s not just movement, it’s intelligent movement with awareness. In a way, it's physiotherapy extended into your lifestyle." "If you’ve ever been to physiotherapy for a back injury, a frozen shoulder, or knee pain, you’ve probably worked on alignment, strengthening, and mobility. But what happens after the sessions end? That’s where Iyengar Yoga Therapy comes in.

What Makes Iyengar Yoga Different?

Unlike other yoga styles, Iyengar Yoga emphasizes:

  • Movement without strain: Build strength and flexibility without putting stress on your body.
  • Props that support and protect: Use tools that make each pose safe and accessible.
  • Whole-body awareness: Align breath, body, and mind for true, mindful movement.
  • Physiotherapy helps you:

    • Heal injured tissues

    • Rebuild strength and mobility

    • Restore basic function

    Iyengar Yoga helps you:

    • Reconnect to how your body moves through daily life

    • Relearn posture — standing, sitting, walking with mindfulness

    • Cultivate awareness that prevents re-injury

    • Integrate breath and attention into every movement

    Unique Approach – Thorough Diagnosis

No two people are the same. Everyone is handled separately even as their symptoms may be the same, but the underlying cause may be different. This cause is first identified by our senior therapists who have 20+ years of experience giving therapy or medical yoga to the community. The progress is closely monitored at every level and modifications are suggested accordingly.

    How does yoga therapy work?

Asanas have inbuilt potential to heal. With correct sequence & adjustment, the body’s own natural healing is triggered. Incorrectly performed asanas can damage, while correctly done will bring miracles. Having faith makes the process simple for both patient & therapist. And let the magic work itself.
